Ok I finally decided on this. I finally did it to the death of me. The conclusion was hard fought but, it can’t be denied now.
Bootstrapping isn’t the best way to build an affiliate business (or any for that matter).
I think everyone goes through the amateur phase where you believe that business can be built by you because you believe your insight or drive is particularly special. I think this is BS on most accounts, and a huge waste of time when you don’t understand the truth of the alternatives.
Let me ask you this: “When has it ever been advisable to not plan your approach/attack”
Most of us suffer from one of two diseases. We either A) Never get started due to fear of understanding and looking bad. Or B) We jump into situations as soon as we find them and we don’t choose to develop them further.
I’m definitely the “B” extreme. I took a beating over the past 6yrs jumping from business to business and worse still, having limited success would ward off the inevitable.
I was failing, but not enough to stop and recalibrate.
Then it hit me FINALLY in 2019 I realized that it was ok to “Pause” my business in order to find the weak spots and begin again.
This decision led me to do just that to all my marketing efforts and halt operations on the first online business I’d created Meditation Life. It felt wrong, it felt very strange to stop something that I built. The truth was finally being confronted though.
I think this was the turning point. It was finally time to edit my process, edit my content, and truly understand if I was going the right direction.
