The key to Wealth Affiliate is volume through output. One of the main tools for doing this along with keyword research is Jaxxy. The biggest push WA has aside from cranking out content non-stop (which they are right about) is the keyword research. But one I know for a fact could be stressed more is the use of keyword research to an even greater extent.
Getting Deeper With Your Research
The biggest missing piece when considering longevity in affiliate marketing is how well you can perform the tasks that make up the core of what you're going to need to do on a regular basis. That means mastering the fundamentals is something you'll want to mentally commit to from the very beginning. One of the best ways I found to up my blog post output while not completely throwing trash up was research. This is why once I got up and running, I believe the big advantage of SEO Affiliate Domination was that I learned the basic skills of SEO before the emphasis on shelling out content. The thing that really hit me was the fact that there are several free solutions that work better than Jaxxy, and once you're ready SEM Rush and
And although I prefer SEM Rush I'll admit its price is significantly different starting at $99.95/month while Jaxxy is only $49/month. But with that, there are huge differences in what you are paying for. I'll highlight those differences below.
One of the most technical tools of the bunch. When I first gained access on a friend's account I dug deep into the tutorials to get a hang for what the tool was capable of. This didn't disappoint and soon I was analyzing competitors and narrowing in on the exact keywords I needed to. As an SEO you can glean info by truly understanding paid traffic. If your competition is spending heavily on certain keywords, you can rest assured they are worth considering as you build content.
I've yet to navigate
Here at BHT, we're all in a fairly similar boat and looking to purchase a few of the right tools to get started. This is definitely on my
If I didn't have SEM Rush, I'd be buying
Let's face it, you have to pay to play. Gone are the days you can make it happen from scratch without an advantage in skill or software.
I know, it was hard for me to accept it too. But, it's really a matter of making your first couple sales, reinvesting in one-time purchase style tools such as Thrive Themes while simultaneously growing your knowledge and

That's fine, I get it.
That's how I ended up using Market Hero as my first visual autoresponder. Granted, it came with Alex Becker's training (8x Academy) which was worth it for me at that point in my journey. If you've taken the Wealthy Affiliate trial then you'll notice that Jaxxy is initially presented as a free tool, integrated into WA nicely.
The problem with Jaxxy is there are many tools that I recommend and many are 100% free. A couple that
Free Keyword Search Tools
Keywords Everywhere – Chrome extension and my go-to for quick searches.
Ubersuggest – Neil Patel's tool, not bad and very easy to use.
Google's Keyword Planner – I liked how deep you could get, but it's a bit overwhelming when starting out. But, learning all of Google's tools has it's benefits.
I watched this summary of the book the 4 Disciplines of Execution. I was absolutely taken aback by the thorough breakdown that really got to the root of what it is to execute effectively. Stick with me, I know that I’m not the only person who struggles with the demands of what it is to earn money as an affiliate. There are indeed quite a few tasks that need to be mastered not only individually, but also in concert. They must connect in some way and on some level.
- Marketing Analysis
- Gaining Momentum
- Pinpointing interest
There’s definitely more than meets the eye, and an entire journey one can go on if you truly seek to master this game and understand where and why profits appear when they do. This is the analytical mind of mine. The gift and the curse. In my trading I’ve noticed that once I was very confident with my method I stopped taking bad trades. I completely stopped believe that there was even any real risk involved when certain set-ups appear. Maybe my feeling of mastery in that domain is spilling over to give me a chance to apply a tried and true method to then deepen my faith in it. Maybe that’s why I gravitated over to blogging in the way that I have, I feel lucky to have found it. I feel like it’s inevitable that this writing hobby will turn profession and one day pay off. It feels a lot like destiny, I’ve been looking for an alternative way to make a career juggling writing and trading. This feels solid, I feel like i’ve hit my mark just by identifying the opportunity.
There is no doubt that Wealthy Affiliate is all about SEO blogging. You’re taught sound fundamentals in building traffic in a very white hat manner. However, what you don’t learn is how to quickly and effectively test your market. The former is called creating an Authority Site. The latter is building a Test Site. As with just about anything, you develop a taste for all the different tools available along with how and when to use them. I think SEO AD does a much better job of offering a fuller picture of what SEO blogging for commission is and how to earn quickly. Another notable difference is the course length. I was able to get through all the SEO AD video courses in about 1 week of dedicated study. The first 3 days I spent going through the course, the remaining 4 I rewatched areas that were difficult to grasp and began implementing.
It took some time but eventually I was able to realize the power of what I had been taught. Not only distinguishing between the different tools available, but also using the data to determine which part of my chosen niche to really dig into.
Wealthy Affiliate taught me to create robust content, from product reviews to extensive articles with visual content I am definitely thankful for adding that piece to my arsenal. I had that with SEO AD, but I admit the sheer number of tools had me distracted and focus on building Test Sites. I believe that the reminder if anything that Wealthy Affiliate provided allow me to become an even better SEO professional. I now implement video in many of my posts and I’m set-up on the Amazon Associate program, which I think could be huge for a beginner looking to earn their first commission (proof of concept).
Tools that are overlooked by Wealthy Affiliate
Thrive Themes – Your site needs to be modern, clean, and capable point blank.
SEM Rush (or ahrefs) – I vowed when I started this blog that I'd only promote what I've personally used, and as I mentioned earlier I've been the benefactor of a few ahrefs reports but never actually got hands on with the program yet. SEM Rush is amazingly powerful and the same price. I already have access to it and will be spending on ahrefs soon to return the favor to my buddy.
